"That which matters most is more than f-stops and lenses, more than pens and paper, more than notes and strings, more than knives and clay. That which matters most is a child's laugh, a lover's hug, an open heart."

In my photography I strive at every shoot to capture the moment, not set the stage. Of course, there's always those first 30 minutes or so when everyone is still a little nervous and things feel a bit stilted (I usually take all the "formal" pics then!), and that's only natural. But before long, it's my goal to have you and your family so relaxed that you're able to interact with one another in such a way that we capture MEMORIES, not just a pose. We may walk along the beach or hang out at the park or even run through the sprinklers! But we WILL have FUN!!
